Unlike chemical approaches to water disinfection, UV light provides rapid, effective inactivation of microorganisms through a physical process. When bacteria, viruses and protozoa are exposed to the germicidal wavelengths of UV light, they are rendered incapable of reproducing and infecting.

HOW TO USE THE UV-WAND

• Used when connected via USB (a USB cord is provided with your purchase). You can connect the USB to a computer, a USB adapter outlet plug, or simply any device with a USB port.

• Used with 4 Triple A Batteries (making it usable on the go and traveling).

• To use, simply open up and hold the on/off button for 3 seconds until light turns on. When on, you can now use on any surface. 

• The UV-Wand has a safe sensor which shuts off the light whenever it is turned away from a direct surface or object to avoid misuse. 

• Apply direct UV-Light for 10+ seconds on surfaces to maximize sanitation. 

PRECAUTION: Do NOT shine the UV light onto your skin or anywhere on your body. Doing so may result in skin damage.
